So generally fair weather conditions po tayo from Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, gayundin sa Palawan, Visayas, at Mindanao,” Torres explained.

(We are not observing any significant cloud formations that could bring continuous rainfall throughout the day. So, generally, fair weather conditions are expected across Central Luzon and Southern Luzon, as well as Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao.)

Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light rains will persist in Batanes due to the northeast monsoon, locally termed amihan, according to Torres.

Pagasa added that weather in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Norte, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will still be influenced by the shear line or the convergence of cold northeast monsoons and warm easterlies from the Pacific Ocean.

(Due to the effects of the shear line, we consistently observe cloud clusters affecting northern Luzon. As a result, several areas in northern Luzon can expect rainy weather throughout the day.)
