MANILA, Philippines—University of the East has parted ways with men’s basketball coach Jack Santiago, the school announced Tuesday.
The Red Warriors finished with a 15-41 record in four UAAP seasons under the guidance of Santiago, who took over the coaching reins at UE in 2020.

In his final season with UE, Santiago nearly steered the Red Warriors to the Final Four after finishing the first round with a 5-2 slate.
Article continues after this advertisementUE, however, crumbled in the second round and went on to lose its last six games including a playoff for the last Final Four slot against Adamson.

The Red Warriors have yet to announce a new coach as of posting time.
