MANILA, Philippines — Trisha Tubu attributed Farm Fresh’s improvement to Rachel Anne Daquis and their other veterans in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

“Lalo na si Ate (Daquis). Sobrang leader niya po talaga kasi. So even na mga bata kami pero with the help of Ate RAD and saka mga ates po namin, unti-unting nakukuha po namin ang mga experience talaga.”

It was Tubu’s second 30-point game this conference, proving that her trajectory is way up after winning the Best Opposite Spiker of the Reinforced Conference.

The Adamson one-and-done star, who hit 28 of her 57 attack attempts, wanted to be more efficient and reliable to repay the trust of her coaches, teammates, and management.

“Yung goal ko po ngayon talaga is yung maging efficient po every time na nasa court ako makatulong ako sa team. Ina-eye ko kasi ngayon takaga is bawat panalo ng team namin. Kasi aanuhin mo ang award kung ang team mo naman is talo,” said Tubu.

“Ayoko pong masira yung tiwala sa akin. Kaya hanga’t nandyan ako sa loob, hangga’t kaya kong mag-contribute talagang magko-contribute ako para rin sa team ko.”

Tubu and the Foxies battle the PLDT High Speed Hitters on Tuesday next week at the same venue in Pasig City.
